Electric fence installation in Eldoraigne
Eldoraigne is one of Centurion's older, well-established suburbs, with large trees and a mix of freestanding homes, townhouses and security estates. We connect you with an independent installer for electric fencing in Eldoraigne.
What makes Eldoraigne different
According to Seeff's area profile, Eldoraigne has roughly 2,600 houses and 1,300 townhouses, freehold stands that range widely in size, and a long list of security estates within the suburb. The Hennops River runs along its northern boundary. That mix means the person asking for a fence quote here could be a homeowner on a large stand, a unit owner in a complex, or the trustees or estate management of a whole development.
Big stands and large established trees also mean long walls and branches near the strands. On a large stand, ask about zones, so that a fault at the far end of the garden is quick to find.
Typical electric fence requests in Eldoraigne
- New wall-top fences on freestanding homes.
- Perimeter work for complexes and estates, through the trustees or estate office.
- Upgrades: more strands, higher brackets and extra zones.
- Certificates for sales.
- Repairs after storms and where trees reach the fence.
Estates, complexes and the certificate
If you live in an estate or complex, check its rules and get approval before work on a perimeter or visible boundary. Any new, repaired, restrung, extended or upgraded electric fence must comply with SANS 10222-3, and the user or lessor must hold a valid Electric Fence System Certificate of Compliance, which only a registered Electric Fence System Installer may issue (source: ECA(SA)). This is general information, not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions
I own a townhouse in Eldoraigne. Who arranges the fence?
Usually the body corporate, because the perimeter is normally common property. Ask the trustees.
Can a fence be zoned on a large stand?
Yes. Splitting the fence into zones helps you find faults and alarms quickly. Ask the installer how many zones suit your boundary.
Do you cover the estates in Eldoraigne?
Yes, through the estate office or trustees for perimeter work, and through owners for their own boundaries where the rules allow.
